Self checkouts

You know them. The wonderful machines that let you speedily get you through paying for goods by scanning goods yourself and paying by card. So great they are that supermarkets converted over half their manned checkouts for your convenience.

They’re the ones that have cameras watching you all the times shout out “unexpected item in bagging area” (code for “thief”)
